Wolf Creek Narrows is a spectacular spot for a wildflower walk. We were visitng Slippery Rock and decided to take the time to check it out, and we were really glad we did!
There is no parking area at the trailhead, but you can park at
Miller Woods, cross the bridge over Wolf Creek, and the trailhead is on the other side of the road at the opposite end of the bridge. The next time we go, I hope we'll have time to explore Miller Woods as well. There is one trail that makes a loop through Wolf Creek Narrows, so it's pretty hard to get lost. The trilliums had clearly already peaked, and the wildflower show was continuing with many other gorgeous flowers. There are some sunny patches near the entrance, but most of the trail goes through deep woods. We were the only visitors in this small paradise.
