Jennings Prairie

Scarlet bee balm.
I visited the Jennings Environmental Education Center for a botany class that they offered, and we ventured out to the prairie to see what was blooming. They time their "Celebrate the Bloom" event to coincide with peak bloom, which will happen in a few weeks. But right now it's peak bloom for the scarlet bee balm, butterflies are everywhere, and the prairie is as delightful as always.
